Allow us to tell the truth’ – Sathyagraha by journalists

A ‘Sathyagraha’ on the theme ‘Protect the right to know the truth’ to protest against the media repression of the government was held opposite Fort Railway Station today (30th) morning. Members of media organizations and mass organizations participated in the ‘Sathyagraha’ organized by ‘Journalists against Repression.’
The ‘Sathyaagraha’ continued for more than an hour participans carrying placards displaying slogans that stated ‘Allow us to tell the truth.’ The convener of ‘Journalists against Repression’ Chandana Sirimalwatta and several others addressed the large gathering.
