Death Threat on journalist of ‘Rathu Lanka’

A journalist in ‘Rathu Lanka’ the newspaper published by the Socialist Workers’ Union who is engaged in the Rs 8000/- pay hike demand struggle these days, has been threatened by a group who introduced themselves as from the Security division. Mr Sanjeewa Padmasri who was travelling on a motorbike had been stopped this morning near Borella cemetery by a group who came on a jeep. They have told him ‘you all are damn alttoo much. If you try to be too smart, you will be in trouble in the near future’. The group has been travelling in the jeep bearing Regd. No. 32 – 8833.
However Mr Sanjeeva Padmasiri has made a complaint at Borella Police under 62/309/CIB(1)
