Hambantota: Court order bans demonstrations and meetings
The police have taken a court order regarding the funeral of the two persons who were killed when a JVP meeting was attacked with automatic rifles by underworld thugs at Katuwana in Hambanthota on the 15th.
Accordingly, demonstrations, meetings, display of banners, flags, posers and distribution of leaflets have been banned during eh funeral.
The public is also ordered to refrain from activities that would break peace in the area.
