Regarding the column published on the Sunday Leader Newspaper last week,under the heading of ‘Shoot the President’ The Criminal Investigations Department has questioned the Chairman, the Board of Directors,of the newspaper and Mrs Fredrika Janz,who has prepared the letter for the paper.
Mr Ajith Rohana, the Police Media Spokesman says that,these statements were noted down by a special police team appointed to conduct the investigations in that regards.
According to the relevant article, it was revealed that, large number of people are awaiting to shoot the Sri Lankan President Mr Mahinda Rajapaksa.
The Police Media Spokesman says that, the file which contains the details regarding the investigation will be submitted to the Attorney General
