‘CID’ men visit exiled scribe’s home
Several persons claiming to be from the CID has gone to the home of exiled journalist Shantha Wijesuriya, reports said.
They had asked the journalist’s mother as to when he would return and which country he was presently staying in etc.
She has been told to inform them immediately when he returns, said the reports.
The journalist went overseas after several days in hiding due to an attempt to abduct him in Nugegoda town.
Even previously, he had received threatening phone calls from persons claiming to be from the military intelligence.
