Mannar journalists threatened
Three provincial journalists reported news on Mannar court attack received letter of death threats from “Siyadh movement” today.
This letter has been sent to electronic media journalists A.T.Mark, N.J.newspaper Belestus and newspaper reporter S.R.Lambort.
According to the letter, these three journalists have supported the government and worked against the minister Rishadh Bathiudeen. They also wrote articles against the Islamic religion .This was the last warning against these journalists, letter said.
Speaking on this threatening letter victim went on to say, We have informed high ranking officials and international media on this letter.
We have already lodged complaint at the Mannar police station. Court proceedings currently underway on Mannar court attack at the Mannar court. At present we face death threats in the country and would like to urge relevant officials to prove our security in this motherland.
