CYBER TERRORISM ON ELECTRONIC MEDIA, MEDIA PERSONNEL AND HUMAN RIGHTS ACTIVISTS

During the last two weeks some Cyber attacks have taken place on a few Electronic media (websites) in foreign countries that publish news and articles about the situation in Sri Lanka.According to a press release issued today by one of the crippled websites, EelamEnews (www.eelamenews), the attack on their website was described as “Cyber terrorism”. They say that their website was brought to a complete standstill last Sunday 6th February. The Cyber- vandals used the EelamEnews website itself to insult the administrators of the same.
