A Tamil journalist, who had fled the country and sought political asylum in France, has been injured in an assault at a railway station in Paris.
‘Namudu Eelanadu’ journalist Subramaniam Balakrishna had arrived from Switzerland at Gare Du Nord Railway Station in the French capital close to midnight on September 03, where the incident took place.
The assailants had seized his money, driving license, visa documents and the media accreditation card.
